Obituary
JERRETT, Charles A. - 89, died at home on July 10, 2005, after unsuccessfully battling lung cancer. He had resided at 55 Chamberlain St, New Haven, CT, and was the husband of Effie Coveyduck Jerrett. He is survived also by his daughters June (Thomas) Roberts of North Haven and Linda (John) Krasko of Northford. He was the grandfather of Sheryl Roberts of London, UK, David Roberts (Danielle) of El Cerrito, CA, Robert Krasko, Phillip Krasko and Karen Krasko, all of Northford. He was the great-grandfather of Reese Roberts. Mr. Jerrett is the brother of Allan Jerrett of St. John's, Norma Blackwood of St. John's, and Nellie Hansen of Berlin, NH. Marion Barnes and Eric Jerrett of NL and William Jerrett of FL predeceased him. Mr. Jerrett was born in Clarkes Beach on Nov. 29, 1915, a son of the late Frederick and Emma Bartlett Jerrett and was a member of the Carpenters' Local for more than 59 yrs. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in New Haven where he was former vestryman and had served on many boards and committees. He was also a member of the Newfoundland Rangers. Funeral services were held on July 13 and burial followed.
