Obituary
Passed peacefully away on October 23, 2001 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Clifton Louis Matthews of Gander in his 73rd year. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Betsy Matthews; sons Paul (Marie) of St. John's, Derrick (Kelly) of Dartmouth, NS, Philip (Shawna) of Gander, Burt (Mary) of Kelligrews; daughters, Lorraine Matthews of Ottawa, ON, Pauline (Nigel Summers) of Gander; brother Harvey (Jen) of Badger, NF; sisters, Irene Matthews of Badger, Vivian Reid of corner Brook; Verna (Don Pritchett) of Ottawa, ON and ten grandchildren. Funeral service was held on October 25th at Gander. Arrangements entrusted through Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander.
