Obituary

Passed away at the Health Sciences Complex on July 14, Leslie Edwin LeDrew, veteran of the Newfoundland Ranger Force and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, formerly of Laurenceton, Notre Dame Bay, in his 89th year. Predeceased by wife Mildred Minnie (Tetford); son Roy; brothers, Garles, Lemuel and Howard; and sisters, Elizabeth and Emily. Leaving to mourn sons, George (Linda), David (Lucelle), Bevin (Maxine), William (Florence), Lorne (Catherine), and Larry (Ruth); sisters, Ellen Snow and Edith Squires; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special friend Evelyn Henderson. Visitation will be to Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Monday, July 15, and 10 a.m.-12 noon on Tuesday, July 16. Memorial service will be held at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 16. Interment will be in Laurenceton, Wednesday 11 a.m., to be followed by a reception in the Community Hall.
