Obituary

CRANE, Norman P. - Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Norman P. Crane. Leaving to mourn wife Penny; children: Joan (Dave Reddin), Janet Crane, Andrew (Bev Dicks), Daphne, Marion (John Lai) and Jim; grandchildren: Colin and Stephen Reddin, Molly and Peggy Lai and family friend John Harris (and family). Norm was a former member of the Lions Club, the Newfoundland Ranger Force Association, and a trustee of the Commercial Travelers Association. Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service to be held Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas' Anglican Church. No flowers by request. Donations in memory of Norman Crane can be made to Memorial University of Newfoundland, Newfoundland Ranger Force Scholarship Fund at Office of Alumni Affairs and Development, 20 Lambe's Lane, St. John's, NL A1C 5S7, St. Thomas' Anglican Church or charity of one's choice.
