Obituary

Passed peacefully away at Saint Luke’s Home, age 92, Richard (Dick) Noel. Predeceased by wife Violet Lillian Noel (Noseworthy). Leaving to mourn two children Marjorie and Paul (Ruth); five grandchildren Cory (Leah), Kristen, Stephanie (Andrew), Jennifer (Tom), and Michael (Talya); four great- grandchildren Haley, Violet, Sabre, and Liam; second wife Jean Day, residing at Glenbrook Lodge; brother Howard, Bonne Bay; brothers in-law Ray (Una) Noseworthy and Albert Burgess; and sister in-law Bernice Noseworthy. Richard was one of the three remaining Newfoundland Ranger Force and later a member of the RCMP. Special thanks to the staff at Fairhaven and Inglewood units at Saint Luke’s Home for their care. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday, November 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 25 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
