PEET, Ronald Frederick - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, Ronald Frederick Peet of St. John`s, aged 88 years. (Member of Avalon Lodge and the Newfoundland Ranger Force). Predeceased by his wife Janet, 1986; sisters: Anne (Dollie) Peet, and Velma and Ken Moore; brother Thomas and Elizabeth Peet; brother-in-law Douglas Steele; sister-in-law Violet Peet. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son Roger (Martha) Peet; daughter Marilyn Clarke (friend Charles); brother Leonard Peet; sister Alma (Babs) Steele; sisters-in-law: Laura Wells and Eva Poole; Patrick Clarke (Mary); very special long time family friend Elizabeth Pike; granddaughters: Jennifer Nakashima (Brian), and Deborah Peet; grandson Roger Peet Jr.; also several nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends, especially Bruce Neal, Sam Johnson, Rev. Calvin Evans, and his friends at Maplewood. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m.- 12 noon, 2- 4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m., on Saturday from 10 a.m.- 12 noon. Funeral service to be held from Barrett`s Chapel on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
